Kaplan on Broadway

Level 4 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

The flop read {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Gabe Kaplan led out for 40,000. John Morgan clicked it back to 80,000 and Kaplan flatted to see a turn.

The dealer put out the {J-Hearts} on fourth street and Kaplan checked. Morgan knocked the table back, allowing the {5-Diamonds} to complete the board. Kaplan moved out 160,000, sending Morgan into the tank.

"If I stall long enough maybe one of us will die," said Morgan with a chuckle.

The entire table burst out into laughter, Kaplan included. As the laughter subsided, Morgan tossed out a call. Kaplan tabled {A-Hearts}{k-Spades} for a Broadway straight. Morgan threw his cards into the muck, saying that he folded ace-queen for top pair with top kicker.

Kaplan raked in the pot and now has about 3.225 million in chips while Morgan has dropped to 2.34 million.
