Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Brendan Taylor
Brendan Taylor

We missed the hand but according to John D'Agostino, he held {A-}{9-}{4-}{3-} with two diamonds and Brendan Taylor had {A-}{A-}{8-}{3-} on a flop of {9-}{8-}{6-} with two diamonds. The chips went in and another nine on the turn would give D'Agostino trips. The river was a six to send Taylor out in 16th place.

Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

A short-stacked Justin Bonomo was in the big blind and forced all in for his final 7,000. Action folded around to Steve Lustig who raised the cutoff. The button and small blind folded, allowing the hands to be tabled for Bonomo's tournament life.

Lustig: {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Bonomo: {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The board fell {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}, sealing Bonomo's fate and sending him to the rail. He collected $11,191 for his finish.

We didn't catch the action but a short-stacked Tony Merksick was eliminated when his {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} was bested by Justin Bonomo's {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} when the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades} to give Bonomo a set of queens. Merksick was eliminated in 20th place for $8,957.
