Welcome back to our ongoing coverage of the 2014 World Series of Poker. Day 3 of Event #59: $3,000 Omaha Hi-Low is set to begin with none other than WSOP bracelet winner David Williams leading the charge. Williams bagged up exactly 500,000 on Day 2 and will look for his second career bracelet on Day 3

While Williams bagged up the top stack in the room, he'll be joined by several other familiar faces. Other notable names returning with a chance for the 59th bracelet of the 2014 WSOP include Matt Glantz (396,000), Brett Richey (249,000), Ismael Bojang (238,000), John D'Agostino (209,000), Justin Bonomo (137,000), Jordan Morgan (115,000), and Mike Leah (36,000).

Also returning is Melissa Burr, who continued her stellar run this summer by bagging up 189,000 in chips. Burr has locked up her fifth cash of the summer and looks to make her fourth final table.

Yesterday's play saw dozens of familiar names return to the felt only to be eliminated by the end of play. Some of those to fall during Day 2 but in the money include Chino Rheem, Sergey Rybachenko, Amnon Filippi, Greg Jamison, Brandon Shack-Harris, Stephen Chidwick, and Brian Rast.

Play kicks off at 2 p.m. local time, so be sure to keep your browsers locked to PokerNews for all of the latest from the tournament felt!

We didn't catch the action but a short-stacked Tony Merksick was eliminated when his {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} was bested by Justin Bonomo's {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} when the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades} to give Bonomo a set of queens. Merksick was eliminated in 20th place for $8,957.

Mike Leah Eliminated in 19th Place ($8,957)

We arrived at the table in time to see Mike Leah already all in against John D'Agostino, Jordan Morgan, and Don Zewin on a {J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} board. There were two checks over to Zewin who shipped out a bet. D'Agostino called and Morgan followed suit.

The {Q-Diamonds} finished the board and D'Agostino checked. Morgan fired a bet and Zewin went into the tank. After about one minute, Zewin released and D'Agostino did so as well.

Morgan rolled over {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a straight to the king.

"Payout!" said Leah, standing up from his seat. His card were pulled into the muck before we had the opportunity to see them. Leah's elimination has prompted a total redraw to the final two tables.

Brief Pause

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Don Zewin, David Williams, and Justin Bonomo all lodged complaints with the floor about the use of the RFID cards (the cards used for the live stream) at their table but not at the other table. After a few consultations with tournament staff, they are swapping out shuffle machines and going with the regular cards. The clock is paused briefly while they take care of this, but cards should be back in the air within the next minute.

Bojang Wins a Chunk From Milchman

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

The board read {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and Zach Milchman turned over {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades} for the nut low with a pair of sevens. "Three quarters," said Ismael Bojang as he turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low with a pair of aces. That moved Milchman into dangerous territory with 77,000 while Bojang moved to 200,000.

Abrams' Boat is Bigger

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Sun Kwak and Scott Abrams saw a flop of {5-Spades}{K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} in a raised pot. Kwak checked over to Abrams who led out with a bet from the button. Kwak slid out a check-raise, and Abrams called.

The {2-Hearts} fell on the turn and Kwak continued out. On this street, though, it was Abrams who put out a raise. Kwak flatted and the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Kwak checked, Abrams fired, and Kwak raised. Abrams called to see a showdown.

"Five-deuce," said Kwak, tabling {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{x-}{x-} for a full house of deuces full of fives. Abrams had a bigger full house, though, with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for queens full of deuces. Abrams scooped up the pot and now has about 400,000 in chips.
