Bonomo vs. Rheem

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

In a hand just before the break, the board read {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} when Chino Rheem bet from the small blind and Justin Bonomo called from middle position. That action repeated itself on the {9-Spades} river, and Bonomo ended up mucking when Rheem tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Hearts} for aces and an 8-7-4-2-A low.

Brunson Stays Alive

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

After a player opened with a raise and the small blind called, a short-stacked Todd Brunson called from the big blind and three players saw a flop of {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Two checks saw the initial raiser continue for 1,500, the small blind folded, and Brunson called.

When the {A-Clubs} appeared on the turn, Brunson bet all in for 2,500 and his opponent called.

Brunson: {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts} paired the board on the river, which meant Brunson wound up with the low and his opponent the high. Chop it up.

Filippi Soaring

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

We noticed Amnon Filippi sitting with a mound of chips, and he got some of them in a big pot where he nearly eliminated two players. We missed the action, but we do know some of the cards.

The board read {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Filippi had the {3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{6-Spades} laid out in front of him for a six-high straight and a six low. An under-the-gun player, who was all in, mucked his cards. Jen Harman also mucked, leaving herself crippled.

Shak is Climbing

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

We caught the action with the {5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop already on the board. Dan Shak bet 1,500 and the cutoff called.

Shak fired again for this time for 3,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn and the cutoff called.

The {2-Hearts} came and Shak didn't slow down. This time the cutoff folded and Shak mucked his hand, bringing his stack to 75,000.

Butler Bounced by Chang

Level 13 : 800/1,500, 0 ante

Justin Bonomo opened for 3,000 and Danny Chang called from the cutoff. A short-stacked Ashly Butler three-bet-shoved all in for 3,200 from the small blind; Bonomo and Chang called. The flop came out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Bonomo checked, Chang bet 1,500 and Bonomo called to see the {10-Hearts} turn, which they both checked. The {6-Clubs} river saw Bonomo check for a third time, and Chang bet 3,000. Bonomo folded and Chang announced that he had a full house before tabling the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{2-Spades}. It was good as Butler sloppily flipped over the {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} before taking his leave.

Selbst is Sliding

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Vanessa Selbst raised to 4,000 from middle position and it folded over to the player on the button who reraised to 6,000. Selbst called and the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop was dealt. Selbst led for 2,000 and her opponent called.

Selbst continued on the {j-Diamonds} turn for 4,000 and her opponent called again. Both players checked the {k-Clubs} river. Selbst mucked her hand once her opponent revealed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, leaving her with 24,500.
