Three players saw a flop of for 52,000 apiece, and Michael Maryska check-raised to pot, over 400,000, after Pat Walsh made a wager on the button. Walsh tanked for a bit before folding.
Miltiadis Kyriakides raied to 50,000 from under the gun and Isaac Baron called from the big blind.
The flop fell and Baron check-called 50,000 from Kyriakides to see the turn. Both checked, the river completed the board and Baron bet 125,000. Kyriakides called, but mucked when Baron tabled for a flush.
A short-stacked Matt Stout got it in with from the cutoff against Matt Marafioti's in the small blind. The board ran out , giving Marafioti aces full of tens to score the elimination.
Javed Abrahams opened to 55,000 in early position, and Leif Force made it 175,000 in the big blind. Abrahams called, then called 187,000 all in from Force on the flop.
"Come on!" Force said, getting up and pacing around after tabling for top set.
Abrahams, meanwhile, held for a flush draw and a gutshot.
"One more!" Force said after the hit the turn.
Unfortunately for Force, Abrahams hit his flush on the river.
In a limped pot with the flop reading , Michal Maryška (small blind) and Ruslan Dykshteyn (big blind) went back forth before Dykshteyn was all in for about 745,000.
Maryška:
Dykshteyn:
Dykshteyn held top set, but Maryška had a ton of outs with a flush draw and a wrap. The hit the turn to give Maryška an eight-high straight, while Dykshteyn missed the river to bust in 12th place.
Pat Walsh opened for a raise to 75,000 in the cutoff, and Tom Marchese called on the button. Alex Kravchenko potted all in for about 365,000 from the small blind. Walsh thought for a bit before potting, an unnecessary move since Marchese was covered. Marchese called off his stack as well.
Walsh:
Marchese:
Kravchenko:
Kravchenko held the lead with aces, but he was the odd man out equity-wise on the flop, which gave Walsh a set of queens and Marchese an open-ended straight draw. The turn brought a flush draw for Kravchenko, so everybody had a slew of river cards to sweat. The helped nobody except Walsh by default, and he bounced both opponents out of the tournament.
"The terminator," one of the players said as they racked up for the redraw.
