Walsh Puts Maryska to the Test

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Hand #6: Marko Neumann raised to 75,000 and took the pot.

Hand #7: Four players saw a {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{q-Spades} flop for the minimum, and Michal Maryska bet 85,000 out of the big blind. Nobody called.

Hand #8: Pat Walsh raised to 105,000 from middle position, and Maryska called. On the {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Walsh bet 225,000 when checked to, and Maryska called to see a {3-Hearts} turn. Maryska decided to lead out at this point, firing 420,000. Walsh potted to put his opponent all in.

Maryska tanked for a good few minutes before ultimately laying it down.

Hand #9: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 60,000 under the gun. That drove everyone else out, and he showed {k-}{k-}{6-}{6-}.

Hand #10: Isaac Baron raised to 70,000, and Kyriakides defended his big blind. The flop brought {4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and a bet of 95,000 from Baron. Kyriakides raised to 250,000, Baron folded, and Kyriakides got the better of him again.

Hand #11: Pat Walsh limped under the gun, and Javed Abrahams called in middle position, Kyriakides completed, and Marko Neumann checked. Walsh bet 125,000 on the {8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop and took it down.
