Hands #4-5: Walsh Adds To His Lead

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Hand #4: Michal Maryska raised to 52,000 in middle position and Marko Neumann called on the button. Pat Walsh three-bet the pot from the small blind, Maryska called and Neumann folded.

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Walsh bet 350,000. Maryska called to see the {A-Diamonds} turn where Walsh fired 800,000. After about 90 seconds in the tank, Maryska gave it up.

Hand #5: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 50,000 in the hijack and was called by Michael Shklover in the big blind.

The flop fell {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Shklover check-called 50,000 from Kyriakides to see the {6-Hearts} turn. Shklover checked to Kyriakides who bet 125,000. Shklover check-raised to 350,000, Kyriakides called and both players checked the {7-Hearts} river.

Shklover tabled {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, but it was second best to Kyriakides' {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for trip deuces.
