Kyriakides Gets a Small Payoff

Hand #16: Isaac Baron raised to 65,000 in the cutoff and took the pot down.

Hand #17: Javed Abrahams raised to 75,000 and was called by Jonas Entin in the small blind and Michal Maryska in the big blind. Abrahams continuation-bet 150,000 on the {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop when checked to, and he took the pot.

Hand #18: Miltiadis Kyriakides raised to 60,000 under the gun, and Entin potted to 215,000 on the button. Kyriakides' cards followed the blinds' into the muck.

Hand #19: Michael Shklover made it 70,000 and was called by Kyriakides in the big blind. After two checks, the board read {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, and Kyriakides bet 30,000. Shklover made it 125,000, and Kyriakides raised hi eyebrows before calling. The {a-Spades} completed the board, and Kyriakides folded to 275,000.

Hand #20: Shklover raised to 70,000 and won the pot.

Hand #21: Six players saw {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop for the minimum, and everyone checked. Action went the same on the {8-Spades}, and a {4-Hearts} finished the community. Kyriakides bet 75,000 from the button after five more checks. Pat Walsh was the only caller, but he couldn't beat the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a straight to the eight.
