Elsewhere Outside the Brasilia Room

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We made a quick gathering of some chip counts from the tables remaining in the Amazon and Pavilion Rooms. Check them out:

Somerville Surrenders

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jason Somerville opened to 400 from early position and the action folded around the cutoff, who three-bet for 1,700.

Somerville flatted the reraise and the flop fell {3-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}, prompting checks from both players in the pot.

On the {7-Hearts} turn Somerville checked for a second time, prompting his opponent to toss out a bet of 2,000. Somerville came alng for the ride and the river card was the {j-Hearts}. The pro elected to tap the table for a third time, and his cards went into the muck rather quickly after his opponent fired out a 2,500 wager.

Pros Doing Work

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

On a recent tour of the Brasilia Room we caught a couple of pros contesting pots, with Loni Harwood taking down a small pot, and Paul Volpe losing a little spare change.

First, Harwood fired out a bet of 2,000 or so with the board reading {6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} board, a wager which quickly forced her lone opponent to fold.

A little later Paul Volpe opened for 450 from the hijack, before folding to a three-bet of 1,300 from the small blind.
