Dick Puts Massive Beat on Greer

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After a {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop, we found Andrew Dick with a bet of 85,000 in front of him, contemplating an all-in shove from Garrett Greer. Someone called the clock after a while, and with 10 seconds left, Dick pushed his stack of about 250,000 forward.

Greer flipped over {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for trips, while Dick held just {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

"Club," Dick said, and the dealer obliged with {4-Clubs}.

"Club," Dick said once more. Again, the dealer granted his wish, this time with the {k-Clubs}.

"Oh my God," an amazed and disgusted Greer said over and over, leaning down in his chair in disbelief.

Carlson's Aces Cracked

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Cory Carlson called all in after the {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} turn with {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} only to see Omar Mehmood reveal {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} for the flopped full house. The {7-Spades} didn't bring the two-outer and Carlson was done.

At the same table, Athanasios Polychronopoulos called a seven-high flop and turned a ten with {A-}{10-} to get value on two streets. After a setback earlier, he is now settled in nicely.

Kohlberg Shoves

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Shortly before the blinds went up, Curt Kohlberg opened for 18,000 and was reraised by the big stack at the table Chris Wa to 40,000. It was folded around to Kohlberg who moved all in for a total of 318,000.

Wa went into the tank while Kohlberg sat frozen, his eyes looking straight down at the center of the table. Wa counted out a call and then took a peek at the tournament clock. Muttering to himself, Wa took a peek at his cards once, and then a second time before folding. Kohlberg exhaled as Wa said to him "big laydown."

"Thank you," said Kohlberg, as he started stacking chips.

Paddock Cracks Aces for a Double

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Paddock shoved his short stack of 56,000 under the gun and went to a flop with {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} after the smooth call from an opponent a few seats over with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. He flopped a gutshot on the {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop. The {Q-Clubs} on the turn was no good for Paddock, but the {10-Clubs} on the river was the card he needed, giving him the double up with a straight.

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

James Giraldo shipped all in for 208,000 in the hijack, and the button moved in over the top of that with a covering stack. Everyone else folded.

Giraldo: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Button: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Giraldo's nines held on the {2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} board, and he doubles up.
