Erlichman Drills Turn to Double Through Devonshire

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Gal Erlichman
Gal Erlichman

Action folded around to Gal Erlichman in the cutoff and he open-shipped all in for 1.665 million. It came around to Bryan Devonshire who instantly called from the big blind.

Erlichman: {A-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Devonshire: {K-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came down {3-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, giving Erlichman top pair but still keeping him behind Devonshire's cowboys. The miracle {J-Spades} drilled the turn, though, and gave Erlichman trip jacks for the lead. Suddenly it was Devonshire who needed to improve to win the hand.

The board completed with the {Q-Hearts} and Erlichman scored the double-up. He now has 3.45 million while Devonshire has fallen to 4.24 million.

Haugen Crosses 10 Million Mark

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Matthew Haugen opened to 250,000 from the hijack only to have Leif Force three-bet the button to 650,000. Haugen made the call and checked the {8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop as Force bet out 525,000.

Haugen paused for a few moments and then raised it up to 1,225,000 to force Force's cards into the muck as he slipped below 3.8 million while Haughen climbed into the eight-figure club.

Devonshire Gets Some Back

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Bryan Devonshire raised to 220,000 from the button, Thomas Sarra Jr called from the big blind, and the flop came down {4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. Sarra checked, Devonshire bet 280,000, and Sarra called before checking dark.

Devonshire then bet 420,000 on the {3-Spades} turn, but he could shake Sarra, who again checked dark. The {6-Spades} completed the board on the river and Devonshire bet 775,000. Sarra quickly called and Devonshire showed {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a straight. It was good as Sarra mucked.

Pappaconstantinou Gets The Crowd Going

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

William Pappaconstantinou raised under the gun plus one to 230,000 and Andoni Larrabe called from the button. Felix Stephensen called from the big blind and the flop came down {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Stephensen and Pappaconstantinou checked to Larrabe who bet 325,000 and the former folded right away. Pappaconstantinou tanked for a little bit before check-raising it up to 875,000. Larrabe called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the river the {2-Spades} hit and Pappaconstantinou threw out a hefty bet of 1,500,000. Larrabe gave it some thought but ultimately folded giving up this pot to Pappaconstantinou, who's crowd cheered loudly for their friend who's trending up nicely.
