Dan Smith has plenty of experience in $5,000 no-limit hold'em events, and he's back in a familiar position after Day 1 of Event #25: $5,000 Eight-Max No-Limit Hold'em. Smith heads the pack into Day 2 after a field of 484 players was generating, creating a $2,317,000 prize pool that will pay 56 spots. A min-cash is worth $8,642 while the winner will take home a WSOP bracelet and $567,724.
