Andrew Chips Up

Level 29 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi raised to 500,000 from middle position, Tim Andrew called next to act, and Ville Mattila called from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and all three players checked.

The turn brought the {K-Spades} and Mattila checked. Mizrachi bet 600,000 and both his opponents called.

The {2-Hearts} hit the river and Mattila checked. Mizrachi asked what was in the pot and checked after brief consideration. Andrew checked behind and flipped over {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} which was good enough to win the pot.

Arroyos Scoops with a Straight

Level 29 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

David Bingham raised pot in early position and found two callers in Jerry Humphrey (button) and Pete Arroyos (big blind).

All players checked the {Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop and Arroyos led out 1.4 million on the {5-Spades} turn. Only Humphrey stuck around.

The {7-Spades} river paired the board and filled a backdoor flush draw. Both players quickly checked and Humphrey announced a seven, showing the {7-Clubs}.

Bingham, however, turned a straight with {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts} and raked in the pot.

Jerry Humphrey Eliminated in 18th Place ($5,552)

Level 29 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Under the gun, Kevin Nomberto limped in and David Bingham overlimped in the cutoff. James Sievers then potted for 1,100,000 on the button and big blind Jerry Humphrey shoved over the top. He had 2,250,000 and Sievers said he didn't like to call but had to as it was a min-raise.

Humphrey: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Sievers: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Sievers called for clubs and the {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} turn gave him a flush draw. The river was a spade card, but it was the {J-Spades} to sink Humphrey's chances.

Darner Doubles with Aces

Level 29 : 100,000/200,000, 0 ante

Mark Darner raised on the button and Pete Arroyos defended his big.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Arroyos checked to Darner who moved all in for 610,000. Arroyos wasn't happy about his hand but he figured out that he had to call.

Darner: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Arroyos: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The {Q-Diamonds} turn and {A-Diamonds} river sealed it for Darner who doubled up.
