Mizrachi Doubles Up

Level 31 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi got his last 1.2 million in preflop from the big blind against Derrick Herron, who was under the gun.

Michael Mizrachi: {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}
Derrick Herron: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

Herron had the preflop edge and Mizrachi needed help from the deck to survive. The board ran out {6-}{5-}{3-Hearts}{K-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Mizrachi took the pot with a straight to double up.

Mark Darner

Kevin Nomberto made it 800,000 on the button and Mark Darner three-bet jammed for 1,550,000 in the small blind.

Nomberto asked how much more it was and then called.

Nomberto: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Darner: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The dealer spread out a board of {Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Nomberto's nines held, leaving Darner with a payout slip for 14th-place finish.

"I mean, double-suited and a pair. I don't give a s***," Nomberto talked to himself after the hand.

The cards were already on their backs, the full board was out, and Michal Maryška was standing up to make his exit when we got to the table.

The board read {J-Diamonds}{9-}{6-}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Derrick Herron had {A-}{Q-}{J-}{2-} face up in front of him. Maryška had gotten the last of his short stack in preflop and Herron's jacks and deuces were best when the last card fell.

Mizrachi Doubles Again

Level 31 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante

Michael Mizrachi and Derrick Herron had their cards tabled and the {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop was out when we got to the table.

Michael Mizrachi: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Derrick Herron: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{K-}{5-}

Action folded around to the blinds and Pete Arroyos completed the small. Michael Mizrachi checked his option and the two players saw a flop of {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. Arroyos checked, Mizrachi bet 500,000, and after brief consideration, Arroyos check-raised to 1.5 million. Mizrachi folded in fairly short order and the dealer pushed the pot to Arroyos.

"Feel my heart!" Arroyos exclaimed as he grabbed Mizrachi's hand and put it to his chest. The entire table laughed in response.

David Bingham Eliminated in 10th Place ($8,830)

Level 31 : 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
David Bingham
David Bingham

From the third position, David Bingham raised pot, making it 1,050,000. He had only 300,000 left behind and called it off after Robert Cicchelli three-bet to 2.5 million on the button.

Bingham: {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Cicchelli: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop didn't give much hope to Bingham but he hit a pair of tens on the {10-Diamonds} turn. The {Q-Diamonds} river gave him two pair and he clapped his hands in excitement. That faded away a few seconds later when he realized that Cicchelli made a flush on the river, eliminating Bingham in 10th place.

The nine remaining players bagged their chips with two minutes left to play in Level 31: 150,000/300,000. The official final table will start Tuesday, July 3, at 2pm local time.
