Mizrachi Stacks Another

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

Daniel Grassi raised to 190,000 from middle position and Michael Mizrachi called from the button.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Grassi checked. Mizrachi bet, Grassi check-raised all-in, and Mizrachi quickly called to put Grassi at risk.

Daniel Grassi: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{3-}{3-}
Michael Mizrachi: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Grassi had flopped a boat but Mizrachi held trips and had a fist full of overcards he could hit to take the lead. The {10-Hearts} on the turn was one of them and the {10-Diamonds} river further improved Mizrachi to tens full, so he took the pot to send Grassi to the payout desk.

Queens Good, Maybe

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

With the action on the {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} turn, Gonzalo Mercade checked from the big blind and Pete Arroyos fired 300,000, sitting two seats to Mercade's left.

Mercade took his time and then tossed in calling chips to see the {6-Hearts} land on the river. Mercade checked, Arroyos quickly potted to set his opponent all in for around 300,000, and Mercade instantly laid his hand down.

"Queens. Queens good? Maybe," Arroyos asked and then answered his own question before Mercade confirmed that Arroyos had him beat.

Chait Doubles Through Popa

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Craig Chait and John Popa got all the chips in the middle before the flop. Popa had the larger of the two stacks by a narrow margin.

Craig Chait: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}
John Popa: {K-}{K-}{9-}{5-}

Popa had the lead with his kings and Chait needed to improve in order to survive. He pulled ahead on the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop and neither the {3-Clubs} turn nor {Q-Diamonds} river helped Popa, so Chait took the pot to double up.

Humphrey Doubles Through Balasubramanian

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

Jerry Humphrey and Srinivas Balasubramanian got all the chips in the middle on a {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop.

Jerry Humphrey: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Srinivas Balasubramanian: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Balasubramanian was ahead with his aces and Humphrey needed help from the deck to survive. The {4-Clubs} on the turn kept Balasubramanian in the lead, but the {9-Hearts} river gave Humphrey trip nines to take the pot for the double-up.
