Richard Tuhrim
Richard Tuhrim

Richard Tuhrim opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Erik Seidel in the small blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Seidel check-called a bet of 6,500 from Tuhrim.

The turn brought the {k-Spades} and Seidel checked again, leaving the door open for Tuhrim to bet another 14,000. Seidel called and the {3-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. Both players tapped the table and Seidel was first to show his cards, tabling {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}. Tuhrim flipped over {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for just a pair of eights, but that was enough to win the pot.

Bicknell Recovers Most of Her Chips

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante

Picking up the action on the river with the board reading {k-}{q-}{8-}{2-}{5-} and around 60,000 in the middle, the action was on Kristen Bicknell who bet the majority of her chips. Bicknell bet 35,000 with only around 5,000 left behind. Her opponent thought for a minute and then stuck in a chip to make the call.

Bicknell whipped over {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} for top two pair and his opponent mucked his cards. "I had a king. I knew you had that though," he said to Bicknell who just smiled after getting back most of her chips she lost earlier.
