Ware Puts Ross on a Nub

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Mike Ross: {x-}{x-}/{A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}
Ron Ware: {x-}{x-}/{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}
Mikko Hirvonen: {x-}{x-}/{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}/{x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} — Folded on fourth

Mikko Hirvonen raised and he was called by Ron Ware and one other player before Mike Ross made it two bets and was called by all three players.

On fourth, Ross bet and was called by Ware and Hirvonen only. On fifth, Ross bet again, but this time it was enough to put himself and Ware all in creating a side pot with him and Hirvonen. Ware ended up making a straight with his final hand being {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} which also gave him a low. Ross ended up making a pair of aces with his {A-Clubs} and {4-Hearts} under which was just enough to beat Hirvonen who had {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a worse pair.

Ware earned a triple up while Ross was only able to collect the small side pot worth 1,800 chips.

"What a f*cking disgusting card, Grumpy" Ross said, grabbing Ware's four and flipping it upside down. Ware let out a cackle and scooped in the pot to stay alive.
