Scooper for Sotiropoulos

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Georgios Sotiropoulos paired up on sixth with fours and bet against Nicholas Kiley, who paired sixes and called.

Sotiropoulos: {x-}{x-}/{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Kiley: {x-}{x-}/{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}

Kiley then called another bet on the end and Sotiropoulos announced three fours and showed {4-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Kiley could only shake his head and muck.

Rossi Peels the Winner on the River

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Trent Gundrum: {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} / {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} / {9-Clubs}
Esther Rossi: {A-Diamonds}{8-Spades} / {4-Hearts}{A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {4-Spades}

Esther Rossi was the bring-in and called when Trent Gundrum completed. Rossi led out on fourth, Gundrum raised and Rossi placed in all her remaining belongings.

She was ahead with split aces but Gundrum turned up a nine on the river, making two pair. Rossi still had a plenty of options to win the full pot or at least a half of it. She peeled a four to make aces up, scooping Gundrum who dropped to crumbs.

Joseph Gegan: {3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} / {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} / {J-}
James Sievers: {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} / {2-}

James Sievers completed and Joseph Gegan called with an ace out. They got the rest into the middle on fifth street with Sievers covering Gegan by a hair.

Sievers made a seven-low while Gegan's hand failed to pair. Sievers' ace-high was worse but he found a deuce on the river to scoop a pair and bust Gegan in 21st place.

Woods Scoops Sotiropoulos

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

James Woods bet out of turn against two opponents on fifth, with only Georgios Sotiropoulos calling. Woods picked up three to a wheel and three diamonds on sixth and bet both there and on seventh.

Woods: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}/{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Sotiropoulos: {x-}{x-}/{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}/{x-}

Sotiropoulos didn't find a fold and got scooped by a flush and a six-low.

Peter Brownstein: {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs} / {6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{3-}{4-} / {X-}
Trent Gundrum: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} / {5-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{9-Clubs} / {7-Hearts}

Trent Gundrum could barely match Peter Brownstein's complete with his stack so they were all in already on third street.

Brownstein started with a pair of sixes and immediately improved to aces up while Gundrum paired his king. The rest of Gundrum's cards were blanks and he walked away in 20th place.

Sexton Doubles Through Monroe

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Paul Sexton and Richard Monroe got in a raising war until Sexton was all in for just under 50,000 before either could even be pitched a card.

Monroe: {6-Spades}{3-Spades}/{5-Spades}
Sexton: {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}/{a-Hearts}

It was three to a wheel against three to a small straight flush but neither player ran out as planned. Sexton got {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} to make trip threes. Monroe picked up garbage with the {9-Clubs} and {j-Hearts} but had a flush draw going to the end when the {q-Spades} arrived on sixth. He turned over the {6-Hearts} for a worthless pair and Sexton doubled.

Greenstein Nearly Doubles Through Martin

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Barry Greenstein bet fourth and fifth when he picked up three to a wheel against Jesse Martin. Martin leaned in to see Greenstein's chips and called, but both players checked sixth.

Greenstien: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Martin: {x-}{x-}/{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Greenstein resumed his aggression on the end, leaving himself just a few thousand back. Martin quickly called.

"Two pair."

"Good."

Greenstein showed {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and swept up the pot.

Sotiropoulos Virtually Doubles Through Roberts

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Georgios Sotiropoulos: {4-}{3-}{5-} / {4-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Bentley Roberts: {X-}{X-}{X-} / {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts}

Bentley Roberts and Georgios Sotiropoulos both had 72,000 in front of them coming to seventh street where Sotiropoulos fired one more shell. Roberts called and Sotiropoulos turned up fours and treys for two pair. Roberts mucked and shipped a big chunk Sotiropoulos' way.

Sievers Doubles Through Nelson

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

After losing a big pot to aces up to drop below 40,000, James Sievers bet fourth three ways and got raised by James Nelson on his left, which knocked out Tim Finne.

Sievers: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}/{5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Nelson: {6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}/{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Finne: {x-}{x-}/{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} (folded on fourth street)

"You got me both ways," Nelson observed.

However, he snagged the {a-Hearts} right away, with Sievers catching {8-Spades}{8-Hearts} to make two pair. He bricked the end so after Nelson bricked sixth it was down to the final card. A {7-Clubs} was good for merely a pair though, and Sievers collected a double.
