Hand #63: River Check-Raise Fails for Mermelstein

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #63: Gal Yifrach opened the cutoff for 125,000 and small blind Gary Hasson called, as did big blind Aaron Mermelstein.

The blinds checked on {6-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and initial raiser Yifrach bet 220,000. Hasson folded and Mermelstein called.

They both checked the {4-Clubs} on the turn and the {Q-Clubs} paired the board on the river. Mermelstein checked again and Yifrach bet 350,000. Mermelstein check-raised to 1.1 million and Yifrach went into the tank before he eventually called.

Mermelstein tabled {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}. The pot went to Yifrach with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.
