Having just doubled up, Kerignard opened the button for 52,000. Big blind James Mackey, who had returned rather quickly after his impromptu break, asked to see how much his opponent was playing, and moved all in. Kerignard called right away.

Yorane Kerignard: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
James Mackey: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {5-Diamonds} and that was it for the Frenchman; out in 9th place for $36,164.

The remaining 8 players are guaranteed $48,823.

Double For Kerignard

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

After winning a blind battle, James Mackey grabbed his bag and headed for the rail, presumably to go to the bathroom. His small blind was dead the next hand, so the table was three-handed when Yorane Kerignard shoved under the gun for 295,000. Big blind Aaron Mermelstein asked how much it was before he called.

Yorane Kerignard: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Aaron Mermelstein: {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and Kerignard doubled.

Bozzano Getting Short

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Gary Hasson opened the button with a raise to 61,000 and big blind Enio Bozzano called. Bozzano check-called 45,000 on {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and another bet - we believe to be 140,000 - on the {7-Clubs} turn.

The river came the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked. Bozzano said he had a four, showing the {4-Spades}, but that turned out to be no good as Hasson tabled {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

Mackey Takes From Rabinowitz

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Darren Rabinowitz opened to 55,000 in the cutoff. James Mackey, on the button, called.

The flop was {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Darren checked. Mackey bet 50,000. Rabinowitz called. The dealer burned and turned the {2-Spades}. Rabinowitz checked again. Mackey continued for 135,000. Rabinowitz called. The {6-Spades} river filled up the board. Rabinowitz checked for a third time. Mackey threw in a bet of 250,000. Rabinowitz tank-folded.

Trips for Rabinowitz

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Darren Rabinowitz opened to 55,000 on the button. James Mackey, in the small blind, three-bet to 200,000. Rabinowitz called.

A flop reading {2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Clubs} was dealt. Mackey bet 150,000. Rabinowitz called. The turn came the {10-Diamonds} and was checked around to the {a-Diamonds} river. Again, both players checked. Mackey showed {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Rabinowitz showed {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for trips, to take down the pot.

Hasson With the Check-Raise

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

In what appeared to be a limped pot, small blind Gary Hasson checked on {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Big blind Ana Marquez bet 40,000 and Hasson called.

The {3-Diamonds} hit the turn and Hasson checked once more. Marquez didn't hold back and slid 130,000 in chips forward. Hasson contemplated on what to do for just a bit before he announced a raise to 380,000.

Marquez folded soon after.
