Bambrick Doubles Through Ryynanen

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

From the button, Ryan Bambrick raised to 150,000. Small blind Tim McDermott called and so did big blind Sampo Ryynanen.

The three of them saw a flop of {J-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} and the blinds checked. Bambrick checked behind so the {6-Clubs} on the turn was seen for free. The blinds checked again but Bambrick bet the pot (450,000). McDermott tanked for some time before he folded. Rynnanen potted for 975,000 effectively and Bambrick called all in instantly.

Ryan Bambrick: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Sampo Ryynanen: {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The {3-Diamonds} river was a blank for Bambrick and he doubled up with his turned set of sixes.

Action folded to the blinds and Tim McDermott raised to 150,000 from the small. Riley reraised the pot to 450,000, McDermott four-bet, and Riley called to put himself at risk.

Tim McDermott: {J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Phil Riley: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}

Riley had the lead with his aces and McDermott needed to improve in order to win the pot. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{K-Hearts} to give McDermott trip nines, so he took the pot to end Riley's run in this event.
