Farid Jattin Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,173)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Farid Jattin
Farid Jattin

Farid Jattin raised to 27,000 from middle position, Ryan Bambrick called from the button, and DJ MacKinnon called from the small blind.

The flop came {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Spades} and MacKinnon checked. Jattin checked, Bambrick bet 55,000, MacKinnon folded, and Jattin check-raised to 204,000. After some consideration, Bambrick called.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and Jattin made a pot-sized bet of 494,000, sending Bambrick into the tank. After over four minutes, he ultimately moved his stack into the middle, and Jattin called with a slightly smaller stack to put himself at risk.

Farid Jattin: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Ryan Bambrick: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Both players held trips but Jattin had the best of it with the better kicker and Bambrick needed to improve in order to win the pot. The {9-Spades} hit the river to give Banbrick jacks full of nines, so he took the pot to end Jattin's run in this tournament.
