There was already close to 10,000 in the pot on the river on a board reading {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. A player checked to Chris Back who tossed out a bet of 3,500. His opponent thought it over for a bit before mucking his hand and Back added the pot to his stack.

Barny Boatman is fresh off of the Event #21: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em MILLIONAIRE MAKER final table that wrapped up late last night. Boatman's ace-king was outflopped by the eventual winner Arne Kern's ace-jack and he exited the tournament in seventh place taking home $175,865.

The two-time WSOP bracelet winner isn't taking any days off. He is right back in his seat here in Event #30: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
and is already putting his starting stack to work.

Linton Loses Some Chips

David Simon in small blind checked as well as Vivian Saliba in the big blind. Peter Linton from under the gun bet 1,850, but then faced a raise for 4,000 from the fourth player in the hand. The small blind and Saliba folded their hands, and after some thought Linton did the same.

There had already been an opening raise when Jose "Nacho" Barbero reraised to 1,200. That was called by Gustavo Echeverri, but then Dmytro Samoilenko opted to reraise again to 5,500.

Barbero and Echeverri both ended up folding and Samoilenko only showed a {j-Hearts} and a {3-Clubs} before claiming the pot.

Wantman Continues to Climb

The under-the-gun player limped in and Kay Coulston raised to 450. Michael Ma called and Matthew Wantman reraised to 2,000 from the button. It folded back to Coulston who called and Ma called as well.

They went three-handed to the {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop and it checked to Wantman who tossed out a bet of 3,000. Coulston quickly folded and Ma thought it over for a bit before also folding. Wantman scooped the pot without showdown and continues to climb here in the early levels.
