Bad Start for Barbero

On a board showing {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and with 1,300 already in the pot, Jose Ignacio "Nacho" Barbero checked from the small blind and watched his opponent in the big blind bet 1,025.

After some thought Barbero ended up calling, but mucked his hand when his opponent tabled {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the straight.

Barbero is now down to 1,500 chips.

The under-the-gun player raised to 150 and Jennifer Tilly called from the small blind. The big blind called as well and they went three-handed to the {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Tilly led out with a bet of 450 and both players quickly folded.
