Alan Denkenson opened to 75,000 from early position and directly to his, left Steve Zolotow made the call. Robert Beach then three-bet to 400,000 from the big blind and action folded back to Zolotow who moved all in for around 550,000. Beach made the call and players flipped over their hands.

Robert Beach: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Steve Zolotow: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The flop made Zolotow shake his head as a queen landed in the window of a {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Zolotow would need a king. The river failed to do so as it came the {8-Hearts} and Zolotow was eliminated.

Charles Thompson raised to 55,000 and Frederick Parsons called from the small blind. Alan Denkenson called from the big blind and they went three-handed to the {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. Parsons moved all in for 563,000 and Denkenson folded.

The flop was a scary one for Henley as the dealer fanned out {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Hugon picked up a straight draw with a flush draw to boot. A {9-Hearts} fell on the turn and Hugon would need to connect, but failed to do so as the {3-Clubs} landed on the river.

Steve Zolotow
Steve Zolotow

Steve Zolotow raised to 40,000 from early position and Bruce Hugon called from the big blind. They went heads up to the {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and both players checked. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and again both players knuckled the felt.

The river was the {7-Spades} and Hugon led out with a bet of 60,000. Zolotow thought long and hard staring across the table at Hugon and after more than a minute he called. "Queen-high" said Hugon turning over {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} and Zolotow showed {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high to take the pot.

John Erickson: {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Randy Lowery: {8-Spades}{7-Spades}

"I've got two live cards at least" said Lowery as the dealer spread the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop. Lowery paired his eight to take the lead but the {q-Hearts} hit the turn. Erickson spiked his queen to take control of the hand and the {2-Diamonds} river was no help to Lowery.

Lowery is our 18th place Event #36: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em finisher and takes home $12,480.
