James Worth Takes the Chip Lead

Level 26 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

James Worth just got all of his chips all-in and once again, it was his tournament life on the line in a hand against Phil Hellmuth.

Hellmuth had opened to 21,000 from the button and Worth moved all in for 129,000 from the big blind. It was a snap-call for Hellmuth and they flipped their cards on their backs.

James Worth {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Phil Hellmuth {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Hellmuth was the one who needed to hit as they headed into the flop. It came {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs}, giving Worth a flush draw and Hellmuth now needed a king to hit Broadway. The {2-Clubs} turn locked it up for Worth with the nut flush and the {9-Clubs} river made no difference.

Worth has nabbed the chip lead but at the same time, this is the most even-stacked the players have been since playing three-handed.
