Hands #39-42: Win One, Lose One for Kertland

Level 40 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #39: Young Phan opened to 25,000 from middle position and Endrit Geci called from the cutoff. The two players saw a flop of {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Phan led out for 38,000. Geci called and the {q-Hearts} landed on the turn. Phan checked this time and Geci slid in a bet of 80,000. Phan quickly folded and Geci raked in the pot.

Hand #40: Anthony Reategui raised to 30,000 in middle position and Jesse Kertland called on the button. The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Reategui continued for 35,000. Kertland called and the {k-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn. Reategui checked to Kertland who bet 43,000 and Reategui quickly folded.

Hand #41: Reategui made it 25,000 to go again and Royce Matheson called on the button along with Alexander Lakhov in the big blind. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Reategui took it down with a bet of 45,000.

Hand #42: Kertland opened to 25,000 from the hijack and Dylan Linde defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {q-Spades} on the turn. Linde led out for 45,000 and Kertland stuck around to see the {7-Spades} on the river. Linde pushed forward another bet of 110,000 and Kertland thought for a brief moment before mucking his cards.
