Soverel Doubles, Calderaro Jams Up Stack

Level 21 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Sam Soverel ended up all in and at risk for 265,000 in a battle with table neighbor Omar Zazay.

Sam Soverel: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Omar Zazay: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{4-Spades}

The board came {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{K-Spades} gave Soverel two pair, kings and deuces, and that was good enough to double through Zazay.

Over on Table #447, James Calderaro had defended his big blind against a raise by Mike Leah and a call by Veselin Karakitukov in the hijack. On the {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop, Calderaro checked and Leah bet 105,000. Karakitukov called and Calderaro check-raised all in for 540,000.

Leah folded rather quickly and Karakitukov asked for the bet to be pulled in to determine how much more it was the call, but ended up folding.
