Wolff Doubles Through Mercier

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Jason Mercier chipped up through Bogdan Capitan and the latter then lost a pot to Ben Yu. Capitan called a raise to 175,000 by Yu in the cutoff and checked his option in the big blind on the [Jd7c7s| flop. On the {3-Hearts} turn, Capitan bet 125,000 and Yu called before the {A-Spades} fell on the river. Capitan checked, Yu bet 425,000 and forced a fold.

George Wolff raised to 175,000 on the button with 60,000 behind and Mercier defended the big blind. On the {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop, Mercier checked and called the shove.

"I have a wrap," Mercier announced and tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Wolff was ahead with the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river were blanks and Wolff doubled.
