Jett Takes It Down on Seventh Street

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Chip Jett: {x-}{x-} / {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} / {x-}
Levon Torosyan: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}
Paul Tedeschi: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} / {x-}

Levon Torosyan completed with the {a-Spades} and was called by Paul Tedeschi and Chip Jett. The action checked to Jett on fourth and fifth streets where he put in a bet each time. Torosyan and Tedeschi called both times and the action checked around on sixth.

On seventh, the action checked to Jett again who looked down at his last card and moved in a bet. Torosyan quickly folded and Tedeschi's cards quickly followed as Jett took down the pot.

Mor Eliminated by Tedeschi

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Ofir Mor was all in before fifth street against Paul Tedeschi. Here's how their board looked.

Paul Tedeschi: {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Ofir Mor: {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

Mor had three jacks, but Tedeschi was holding a straight and a low and that meant that he would scoop the pot to send Mor to the rail.

Friedman and Thompson Chop a Big One

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Robert Mizrachi raised from under the gun and was called by Michael Thompson to his left, Perry Friedman in the hijack, and the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the big blind checked to Mizrachi who pushed in a bet. All three players called to see the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

This time, the action checked to Friedman who made a bet and everyone still called. The river was the {7-Spades} and the action checked to Thompson who took his turn to begin the betting. Friedman called, the big blind called, and Mizrachi folded. Thompson showed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a full house and Friedman tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the nut low. The big blind mucked his cards and Thompson and Friedman chopped the pot.

A River Raise Works for Bolden

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On a flop of {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Levon Torosyan led out with a bet from early position. Gary Bolden called in position and the {9-Spades} landed on the turn.

Torosyan tossed in another bet and Bolden stuck around to see the {9-Clubs} pair the board on the river.

Torosyan led out for the third time, but this time Bolden raised. Torosyan thought for a moment and then folded {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} face up, sending the pot to Bolden.

No Dinner For Hachem

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Joe Hachem had a bit of rough time post-bubble and his stack was cut from over 100,000 chips down to just about 20,000 before this hand started. Most of his chips went over to Brendan Taylor who now sits with right around 300,000 chips.

In Hachem's last hand, he completed with the {A-Hearts} and he was called by Michael Horowitz with the {3-Spades}.

Joe Hachem: {x-}{x-}/{A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}
Michael Horowitz: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

On fourth street, Hachem bet and Horowitz called. Hachem moved all in on fifth street and Horowitz called again.

Here's how the two players' boards looked on seventh street.

Joe Hachem: {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}/{6-Spades}
Michael Horowitz: {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}/{10-Diamonds}

Horowitz made two pair on sixth street and that left Hachem in need of help going into seventh. Unfortunately for Hachem, he found none when he was dealt the {6-Spades} and that meant he would be sent to the rail before the dinner break.
