Flowers Doubles Again

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Just before Frank Flowers took his break, he informed us of a hand that helped him secure his second double in a matter of minutes.

Flowers called a raise with {j-}{9-}, and the flop came down {j-}{10-}{9-}, with two diamonds. Flowers called a bet, and the turn brought a diamond card. Flowers, who held no diamond cards, check-raised all in for 1.3 million and was called.

His opponent held {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and needed to hit on the river to eliminate Flower. But the board bricked, and Flowers took the pot with two pair to move him back up to the four million mark once more.

Lozano Hits A Flush

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Raul Manzanares Lozano
Raul Manzanares Lozano

Ryan Moss raised to 160,000 from early position, and Daniel Corbett called in the next seat. Raul Manzanares Lozano called in the cutoff, and the big blind came along as well.

The action checked to Corbett on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, and he bet 225,000. Lozano called, and the other two players folded.

Heads-up to the turn and both players checked after the {10-Clubs} was revealed.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}, and Corbett checked once more before he called a 480,000 bet from Lozano.

Lozano tabled {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flush and Corbett mucked.

Sammer Hammers Aces; Bisco Out

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Harald Sammer raised from middle position and Don Bisco moved all in from the small blind. Sammer had Bisco covered and made the call.

Harald Sammer: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Don Bisco: {a-}{a-}

Board: {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Bisco was favorite to double with his pocket aces, but the six card hit the flop to give Sammer the lead, and he held to score the elimination. A bitter blow for Bisco who exits shortly before the final level of the day.
