Elias Turns Two Pair

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Darren Elias raised to 12,000 from early position and was called by Blake Bohn on the button and Jason Mercier in the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Elias continued for 15,000. Bohn called and Mercier got out of the way.

The turn brought the {6-Diamonds} and Elias chose to check. Bohn seized the opportunity to bet 31,000 but Elias stuck around to see the {q-Diamonds} on the river. Elias checked again and Bohn checked behind. Elias tabled {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for two pair and Bohn tossed his cards away.
