Holz into the Tank Against Fox

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Elio Fox limped in the small blind and Fedor Holz raised to 375,000. Fox called and the flop was {8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Fox check-called a bet of 550,000. The river was the {j-Spades} and Fox checked to Holz who bet 1,500,000. Fox then check-raised all in, covering Holz.

Astonishingly, Holz burned through all six of his time extensions, before folding.

Fox Staying Active

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

From the cutoff, Elio Fox raised to 225,000. Jason Koon called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Koon check-called a bet of 175,000 from Fox.

Both players checked on the {Q-Hearts} turn and the {3-Spades} river. Koon showed {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} but it was no good against Fox's {J-}{10-}, so Fox took down the pot.

Fedor Holz Eliminated in 9th Place ($240,265)

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Fedor Holz
Fedor Holz

On the button, Elio Fox raised to 275,000. In the small blind, Fedor Holz moved all in for 1,750,000. Action fold back to Elio who thought about it briefly before calling.

Elio Fox: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Fedor Holz: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

It was looking bad for Holz who had an underpair as well as both of his suits covered. He couldn't improve as the board ran out {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and that would spell the end for Holz. He hits the rail in 9th place, bringing players to the official final table of eight where we will begin our hand for hand coverage.
