Martin Saved by the River

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

The board read {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and it was on the turn that the all-in and a call took place. Scott Martin was the the player at risk when he got 14,500 chips in and was called.

Scott Martin: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Only a spade would net Martin the pot or a queen would give a chop and it came a {4-Spades} on the river and Martin collected the pot.

Lincks Needed a Lady, Then She Arrived

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

The flop was showing {3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Ryan Lincks moved all in for 11,550 into a pot around 6,000. His opponent instantly called and turned over {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}.

Lincks then turned over {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and would need to connect on the next two cards and a {q-Hearts} happened to fall on the turn. The river came the {2-Diamonds} and Lincks took down the pot with his two pair, getting a full double up.
