Jamison Doubles

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Gregory Jamison made it 70,000 on the button and Eli Elezra called in the small blind. Elezra put in extra 23,000 before the {7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop landed on the felt and Jamison called all-in.

"I have a pair of fives," Elezra said, turning up {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

"I have everything else," Jamison laughed, showing {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Jamison hit the wheel with the {A-Clubs} river, securing a double.

Counts at the Break (full)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

The remaining 12 players have been sent on a 15-minute break. Here is how they currently stack up:

"No More Soft Playing!"

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Eli Elezra limped in under the gun, Daniel Negreanu completed from the small blind and Gregory Jamison checked his options.

All players checked the {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Elezra potted on the {2-Diamonds} turn. Only Negreanu called the 48,000 bet and the {A-Diamonds} completed the board.

Negreanu checked again and Elezra knuckled back after giving it some thought. Negreanu took down the pot with {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Spades} for the Broadway, beating Elezra's {K-}{J-}{X-}{X-}.

"No more soft playing!" Elezra joked when he saw Negreanu's hand.

Jamison and Elezra Take It Back

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Gregory Jamison potted in the small blind and potted again on the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Eli Elezra called preflop and raised for a little bit more on the turn to put Jamison all in.

Jamison had {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Elezra turned up {K-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} and the {A-Diamonds} turn gave a flush to Jamison while Elezra had the nut low. the {10-} river changed nothing and they took their bets back.

Negreanu Cut Down, Doubles the Next Hand

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

On a {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop, Daniel Negreanu bet 45,000 then called the rest of it off after Eli Elezra raised.

Eli Elezra: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Daniel Negreanu: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

A {9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} runout gave Negreanu just a quarter of the pot, cutting him down to just 76,000.

The very next hand, Negreanu raised pre and called all in after a three-bet from Gregory Jamison.

Gregory Jamison: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Daniel Negreanu: {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} this time, and with no low hand qualifying, Negreanu's two pair was best and he doubled up.

In a battle of blinds, Mihails Morozovs raised in the small blind and moved all in when Kim Kallman potted. Kallman called off and the cards were on their backs.

Morozovs: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Kallman: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

The {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop was dealt and the table said in unison: "Wheel."

"No longer a fair fight," Mike Matusow added.

The {6-Hearts} turn and {Q-Clubs} river didn't help Morozovs who needed to see a five. He was knocked out in 13th place while Kallman climbed to 800,000 or so.

Kallman and Gamble Chop It

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Eli Elezra limped in from early position and Kim Kallman raised the max in the cutoff, making it 54,000. Nathan Gamble asked for Kallman's total and he was informed that Kallman had 177,000 behind. Gamble then three-bet to 145,000 and Kallman called.

Kallman stuffed in his remaining chips on the {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop and Gamble called.

Kallman: {A-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Gamble: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Spades}

Kallman was trailing with just a gutshot, but he hit a backdoor low on the {5-Diamonds} and {3-Spades} runout, so they chopped the pot.
