Hutter Eliminates Adams

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Barry Hutter
Barry Hutter

Justin Adams first opened and three-bet a raise from Barry Hutter situated on the button. The latter tossed a stack of 25,000 chips in front him, putting Adams tournament at risk. Adams eventually called, tabling {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, but was facing {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} in Hutter's hand.

The {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} run out brought no help to Adams, who made his way to the cashier.

Cruz Leaves Gupta With Crumbs

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The board was reading {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts} with already more than 110,000 chips in the middle when Marciano Cruz first checked. Ashish Gupta, on the button, made a bet of 52,000 and Cruz thought about his next move for about a minute before announcing all-in with a stack of 214,000.

Gupta ended up making the call with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for top pair, but quickly mucked his hand when Cruz tabled {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for the straight. Gupta was left with three big blinds after that hand.

Both players checked the turn to reveal the {10-Spades} river card and this time Jensen's opponent check-folded to a bet of 72,000.

Homerding Sends Three Home in Huge Four-Way All-In

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Without making much noise there were all of a sudden four people all-in on table 525. Kris Homerding, Pierre Neuville, Ashish Gupta and a fourth player were all involved in a massive four-way all-in pot.

Kris Homerding: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Pierre Neuville: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Ashish Gupta: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Fourth Player: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}

The dealer put down a {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} board and that resulted in three eliminations at the same time, as Homerding had the biggest stack of the four. Homerding now sits on a pretty stack worth almost double the average at the moment.

Queen Doubles Up With the King

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A player opened in the hijack for 17,000 and it was called by the cutoff, as well as Ian Steinman on the button and Alexander Queen in the big blind.

The flop was {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and after the two first players checked, the cutoff bet for 40,000. Steinman folded his hand and Queen moved all in for 223,000. The hijack player folded and after some consideration, the cutoff made the call. Holding {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Queen was facing {8-Spades}{7-Spades} in his opponent's hand.

The {6-Spades} turn brought no help to Queen but the {K-Hearts} on the river gave him one of the outs he needed for the double-up.

Ivens Adds Some Chips

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a raised pot with three players involved, the flop was showing {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the big blind player, as well as Todd Ivens, checked. Cylus Watson bet 30,000 on the button, and only Ivens made the call.

Both players checked on the {4-Spades} turn and {7-Spades} river. Ivens tabled {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and it was enough to make Watson muck his hand.
