Darie's Flush is No Good

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Vlad Darie opened to 4,5000 from the hijack and was called by Ivan Luca on the button along with both of the blinds. The flop fell {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the action checked to Darie who continued for 5,500. Luca was the only player to call as the {3-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn.

Darie fired another 9,000 into the pot but Luca still called to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Darie decided to check this time and Luca knuckled the table as well. Darie turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a flush but Luca held {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for a full house as he dragged in the pot.
