Baxter Holds Against Snowmen

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A late position player moved all in for around 80,000 and Bryden Baxter made the call. Both players then turned over their hands.

Bryden Baxter: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Baxter's tens held on for the pot.

Blackwell wins a Big Pot Towards the End of the Night

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

The board read {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and the cutoff bet 75,000 into a pot around 100,000. Jett Blackwell raised to 150,000 from the button, the cutoff then moved all in for enough to cover Blackwell.

Blackwell snap-called and turned over {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped straight. His opponent tabled {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair and the turn then came the {6-Spades}. Blackwell would need to dodge the full house outs of his opponent and he did so as the {2-Diamonds} came on the river.

Blackwell is now the leader of the pack for the moment being.

Haggerty Wins Big Before the Money Bubble Pops

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and William Haggerty bet 60,000 into a pot around 130,000. David Kolbeck then raised to 120,000 and Haggerty thought for several moments before moving all in for 231,500.

Kolbeck took a few moments and then made the call, leaving himself around 40,000 behind. Haggerty tabled {9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair and Kolbeck showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for a straight draw.

The river bricked out and Haggerty took down the big pot before the money bubble popped.

David Kolbeck busted the very next hand with {A-Hearts}{q-Spades} against Jordan Polk's {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {4-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Kolbeck would be the bubble boy.
