Aces vs. Aces; Bohlman Goes From Winning it All to Chopping

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Scott Bohlman (small blind) and Dustin Dirksen (middle position) got it in after a series of bets and raises for roughly 195,000 each.

Bohlman: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}
Dirksen: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, giving both the nut low draw while giving Bohlman a flush draw. The turn was the {2-Diamonds}, giving Bohlman a flush, but the river was the {2-Clubs} to give both players deuces full of aces to chop the pot.

Elezra Quarters Porter in a Big Pot

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Rep Porter had 18,000 out in front of him before Eli Elezra made a pot-size raise to 60,000. Porter mulled it over for a bit before calling.

The turn was the {J-Spades} and, after a check from Porter, Elezra moved all in for 64,500. Porter dropped into the tank.

"I don't even know what I want," Elezra said after about a minute. "If you have jacks full..."

"If I had jacks full it'd already be in," Porter said.

"What about threes full?" Elezra asked. "I know what you got. You have ace-deuce of spades."

Porter smiled, then eventually decided to call.

Rep Porter: {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Eli Elezra: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and that meant that Elezra would get three-quarters of the pot with his aces and ace-deuce.

Gamble Continues to Build Back

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

There was a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs} out on the board and Nathan Gamble checked over to Phil Galfond who put out a bet of 16,000. Action was back on Gamble and he check-raised making it 68,000. Galfond thought it over for a while before he called.

The river was the {7-Diamonds} and Gamble moved all in. Galfond quickly called.

Nathan Gamble: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Phil Galfond: {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Gamble had nut-nut but Galfond also had the nut low so he would get a portion of the pot. After all the bets, Gamble was all in for 167,500 so Galfond was forced to send over 83,500 to Gamble for the final number.

Jason Gooch

Jason Berilgen opened with a raise to 115,000 from middle position and action folded around to Jason Gooch in the big blind who called.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {9-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Gooch led out with a bet of 16,500 and Berilgen called.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and both players decided to check. Gooch showed down his {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and with his three nines and ace kicker, Gooch was able to take down the pot.

Elezra Doubles Through Simao

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Joao Simao raised to 13,000 from middle position, Eli Elezra three-bet the pot to 44,000 from the small blind, and Simao called.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Elezra bet 30,000, Simao called, and the turn was the {8-Hearts}. Elezra bet, Simao raised, and Elezra's stack of 186,500 ended up in the middle.

Elezra: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Simao: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Elezra was ahead with aces against Simao's jacks and held up through the {10-Clubs} river to give him the double.

Elezra, though, stood up immediately from the table and left. Tablemates Rep Porter and David "ODB" Baker called him back to tell Elezra that he doubled, although Elezra said he knew, and was just getting up to throw things out.

"I knew that I won against his piece of sh*t hand," said Elezra.
