Classic Race Goes to Kim

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

A string of preflop bets between Andrew Kim and Dylan Wilkerson had all the chips go in the middle.

Dylan Wilkerson: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Andrew Kim: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The most classic of races was underway as the dealer fanned out an {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board. Neither player had a heart but Kim did spike an ace to claim the pot. After the stacks were cut down, it was determined Wilkerson had slightly less and was sent to the rail.

Stausholm Wins Big to Eliminate Ninkovich

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The action was opened with a raise from middle position before Martin Stausholm called on the button. Kevin Ninkovich was in the small blind and three-bet to 125,000. The initial raiser folded and Stausholm made the call.

The flop came down {j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Stauholm called a 120,000 bet. On the {4-Diamonds} turn, Ninkovich continued for 225,000 which Stausholm called. When the river came the {j-Clubs}, Ninkovich moved all in for 356,000. Stausholm asked for the count and went into the tank. It was close to three minutes before Stausholm acted, but he did make the call.

Martin Stausholm: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Kevin Ninkovich: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

Stausholm made the correct call for two pair, and Ninkovich wished the rest of the table good luck before he departed for the payout desk. Denmark's Stausholm, who will achieve his third cash of the series in this event, propels himself into the top chip counts.

Brownstein Busts a Player

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

The player on the button open-jammed for 280,000 and Adam Brownstein three-bet shoved over the top for about 350,000 in the small blind, forcing the big blind out of the hand.

Adam Brownstein: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Brownstein was in a dominating position and stayed that way through an {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} board.

Moorman Takes From Zaichenko

Level 24 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Chris Moorman raised under the gun and got two calls, one from Andrey Zaichenko, and the other from the player in the big blind. The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and the action was checked to Zaichenko who bet 65,000. The big-blind player folded, and Moorman made the call to see the {9-Clubs} turn.

Both players checked, and on the river {8-Diamonds} they checked to showdown.

Moorman tabled {a-Spades}{5-Hearts} for top pair, and Zaichenko mucked.
