Juan Testoni Eliminated in 18th Place ($11,942)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Juan Testoni
Juan Testoni

It was a three-way all-in situation that began with a limp from short stack Nathan Nguyen. It was followed by a raise by Kfir Nahum and all-in from Juan Testoni who was also short. Nguyen got it in, as did Nahum and they turned their cards on their backs.

Nathan Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Kfir Nahum: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Juan Testoni: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Despite the {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} runout bringing a gutshot on the flop for Nahum and a flush draw on the turn for Testoni, Nguyen faded it all and scooped a triple. Testoni had to make his way to the payouts desk and Nahum still has over 30 big blinds in play.

Timur Margolin Eliminated in 17th Place ($11,942)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Timur Margolin

Jayaram Kovoorchathoth raised to 27,000 and Heng Zhang called. Timur Margolin three-bet to 98,000 from the button and Lanny Levine four-bet all in from the button. Kovoorchathoth and Zhang both folded and Margolin made the call.

Lanny Levine: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Timur Margolin: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The 2018 bracelet-winner was ahead, but not for long as the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop gave his opponent top pair. The turn {4-Spades} gave him a flush draw, but the river {7-Clubs} meant he was sent to the exit.

"You did say if you made it to Day 3 you were going to win this thing!" John Pannucci said to Levine as he raked his chips in.

"I know," replied Levine, "And I meant it!"

Srinivasan Finds a Favourable Board

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Shyam Srinivasan opened and got three calls, one behind and two in the blinds.

On the {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop, Srinivasan continued for 50,000 and only Justin Zaki wanted to play. The {3-Diamonds} turn saw both players check and on the {k-Spades} river, Zaki checked for the last time. It was Srinivasan bet 140,000 and Zaki said "I have to call that" as he put in the chips. He showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} but it couldn't beat Srinivasan' {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

Srinivasan Doubles With Quads

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Shyam Srinivasan
Shyam Srinivasan

Shyam Srinivasan raised to 27,000 and Heng Zhang defended his big blind.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs} and both players checked. Zhang bet 32,000 on the {5-Diamonds} turn and Srinivasan called. The river was the {k-Clubs}. Zhang checked and Srinivasan bet 85,000.

"You don't have any big chips behind, do you?" Zhang asked.

"No," replied Srinivasan, counting out the rest of his stack which totaled 163,000. Zhang moved all in and Srinivasan's chips damn-near beat him into the pot.

Zhang showed {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a missed gutshot straight draw, with Srinivasan turning over {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} for quads to double up.

Brabham Finds Help

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Trey Brabham

It folded round to Trey Brabham on the small blind and he moved all-in for 177,000. It was an easy call for Nathan Nguyen in the big blind.

Nathan Nguyen: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Trey Brabham: {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop connected with Brabham's hand and he managed to hold on through the {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} turn and river. "Let's Go!" he shouted, delighted with the outcome. The hand meanwhile, has left Nguyen short with ten big blinds.

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

John Pannucci and Shyam Srinivasan both checked a {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and Pannucci bet 30,000 on the {10-Spades} turn. Srinivasan called.

The river was the {8-Spades} and Pannucci bet 85,000. Srinivasan quickly called but mucked when Pannucci showed {7-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a rivered straight.

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Nathan Nguyen
Nathan Nguyen

It was all-in pre-flop between Austin Hughes and Nathan Nguyen, with Nguyen the at-risk player.

Austin Hughes: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Nathan Nguyen: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} but the {8-Hearts} turn gave Nguyen an open-ended straight draw. The {6-Spades} river paired the board, but Nguyen failed to improve and he was eliminated.
