Root Flops Two Against Cahill

Level 6 : 150/300, 50 ante

The flop showed {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}, Nathan Root threw out a bet, and Patricia Cahill moved all in for around 14,000. The pot already had around 4,500 in it.

Root made the call and the players turned over their hands. Cahill showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for a flush draw with straight outs and Root tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for top two.

The {8-Diamonds} came on the turn and the {8-Clubs} fell on the river, securing the pot for Root as Cahill missed her draws and was eliminated.
