Huang Checks a Monster

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

The board showed {5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts}, Yiqing Huang checked from the small blind and his big blind opponent checked behind. The river came the {5-Spades} and both players checked again.

Huang turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a full house and more than enough to take down the 7,000 that was in the middle of the pot.

Stranden Triples

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

There was a fair amount of action by the time it was Ludvik Stranden's turn to act. He moved all-in for 5,400 over the top of the raiser and callers and two of those players called him.

Ludovik Stranden: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Opponent 1: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Opponent 2: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Stranden was in good shape three-handed and the {3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop saw him move further into the lead. The {8-Clubs} turn bricked for his opponents, as did the {3-Hearts} river and Stranden scooped the lot.

Haward Folds the Turn

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

It was a multi-way pot that began with an early position limp and Leo Fernandez raised to 475. Luke Haward called on the button, as did the small blind and the early position player made up the difference.

It fell {10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades} on the flop and everyone checked. The turn came {4-Hearts} and after two checks, Haward bet 550 into the pot. The small blind folded but the early position player raised to a sizable 2,900. It was enough to push off Fernandez and Haward let it go too.
