Nitsche Eliminates Someone

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Dominik Nitsche
Dominik Nitsche

Since the money has been reached, there is a constant stream of eliminations. Right at this moment, the tournament has already lost half of the field since the start of the day.

Dominik Nitsche took it upon himself to send a player home in a pot where they got all their chips in the middle on the {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop.

Nitsche was holding {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and needed to hit a seven or a diamond against his opponent's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and that gave Nitsche the straight and he improved even more on the {4-Diamonds} river. Nitsche had his opponent covered and scoops a very healthy pot.

Strelitz Building a Stack for Himself

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

The board read {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts}, the big blind player checked to Daniel Strelitz on the button who bet 4,000 into a pot of around 12,000, and his opponent made the call.

The {q-Diamonds} fell on the river and both players checked, Strelitz turned over {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of queens and his opponent mucked his hand.

Prasetyo Fills Up on the River

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

The board read {q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Aditya Prasetyo found himself all in, and with a caller, the players turned over their hands. Prasetyo tabled {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a flopped set and his opponent showed {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a turned straight.

Prasetyo would need a to improve on the river and the {q-Diamonds} did just that, giving Prasetyo a rivered full house and more than enough to secure a double-up.

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Kevin Gerhart
Kevin Gerhart

A player in middle position raised to 5,000 and when the action was on Kevin Gerhart on the button he three-bet to 16,000. The player in the small blind folded and the action was on Kenny Hallaert in the big blind.

Hallaert put out a four-bet to 42,000 and the initial raiser folded his hand. Gerhart asked Hallaert how much he started the hand with and the Belgian replied with, "Over 200,000".

Gerhart thought about it for a bit and then shoved all in. Hallaert folded very quickly and Gerhart collected the chips.
