Deeb Doubles Up

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Shaun Deeb had already shoved for about 30,000 on top of his lone opponent's original bet on a {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop when we got to the table. Deeb's opponent was considering his decision but called to put Deeb at risk in fairly short order.

Shaun Deeb: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Deeb found himself behind his opponent's two pair and needed to improve in order to win. The {5-Hearts} on the turn put Deeb in the lead with fives and deuces, the {9-Diamonds} river missed both players, and Deeb took the pot to double up.
