Solomon and Le Chop a Huge Pot

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

There were about 100,000 chips in the pot and the board read {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Tommy Le bet 80,000 from under the gun and Jarred Solomon raised to 336,000 next to act. Le went into the tank for over a minute and shoved. Solomon called to put Le at risk and the two players tabled their hands.

Tommy Le: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Jarred Solomon: {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Both players had tens and eights but they wouldn't chop it up if either a king or four fell on the river. The final card was the {7-Hearts} which changed nothing and the dealer split the pot.

Billirakis Toasted

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Pierre Nasr raised to 16,000 under the gun. He got called by Brock Parker on the button before small blind Steve Billirakis potted for 72,000. Nasr called and Parker got out of the way.

The flop fell {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Spades} and Billirakis shoved his remaining 75,000 or so. Nasr snap-called, showing {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} for a flopped flush. Billirakis had {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and needed two running cards to survive. He got one in the {A-Clubs} turn which gave him four outs but the {K-Hearts} river sank his hopes.

Levine's Hanging Around

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

From big blind, Peter Levine was all in for his last 35,000, facing off against Oleg Pavlyuchuk. Levine held {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and stood against {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The board of {3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Spades} gave both players aces up and Levine scooped the pot with a king kicker to double his short stack.

"Hanging around," Levine smiled.

Negreanu Doubles With Quads

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Three-way to the {Q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{8-Hearts} turn, Phil Galfond checked out of the big blind and so did Daniel Negreanu directly to Galfond's left. Grant Wall bet 20,000 to force a fold from Galfond but Negreanu called.

Negreanu checked when the {2-Spades} completed the board and Wall announced he was betting the pot, which was a little more than Negreanu's remaining 73,000. Negreanu said he was all in and Wall asked if he had quads. Unfortunately for Wall, that was the case as Negreanu turned up {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for the nuts. Wall flashed {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{X-}{X-} for a full house and Negreanu stacked a double, his second since the players moved to the Pavilion Room.

Kozlov Gets Value with a Flush

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

On the river of a {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board, Ronald Keijzer checked in the big blind and Martin Kozlov fired 81,000 into a pot of over 200,000. Keijzer paused for a moment and then pushed forward a pile of chips, making the call. Kozlov rolled over {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and claimed the pot as Keijzer mucked his beholdings.

Negreanu Staying Afloat

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Daniel Negreanu shoved from the small blind for his last 39,000 on a {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop into an existing pot of about 50,000. Phil Galfond was on the button and went into the tank for about half a minute. He ultimately folded and Negreanu flashed the {K-Clubs} as he took the pot.
