On the first hand, Mike Schneider raised from the button and Ryan Hughes three-bet from the small blind. Schneider made the call and the flop fell {3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. Hughes bet and Schneider called once more.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and brought the same action. On the river {9-Spades}, Hughes fired a last bet and got called by Schneider holding {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Hughes, with {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, was dominated and fell to a stack of 14,000.

In the hand right after, Hughes raised from the button and got called by Won Lee in the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Lee check-called Hughes's bet for his last 4,500. Lee turned over {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a flopped straight and Hughes, holding {a-Spades}{3-Spades}, was in desperate shape for a double-up. The turn and river {q-Spades}{6-Hearts} didn't change anything and Hughes made his way to the exit.
