Cooler Ends Saliba's Night

Unfortunately for Vivian Saliba, a cruel cooler has ended her night late on Day 1. Saliba picked up queens in the small blind and got her chips in the middle. Sadly, Charalampos Lappas had woken up with pocket aces on the button and no help came on a jack-high board sending Saliba to the rail.

Donning his 2018 Event #30 WSOP gold bracelet, Ryan Bambrick is also donning a new stack after a recent pot where he nearly doubled up by eliminating an opponent.

With about 15,000 in the middle, the player in the big blind bet pot on the flop of a board. Bambrick moved all in for about 26,000 and his opponent called off for the remainder, having about 25,500.
