Anderson Loses Some

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

There were about 10,000 chips in the pot and the board read {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades} when we got to the table. Calvin Anderson was in the cutoff and heads-up against a player in early position, who checked. Anderson bet 5,000 and his opponent called.

The {K-Clubs} fell on the river and both players checked. Anderson's opponent showed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and his hand was good enough to win the pot.

Glaser Doubles Up

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

A player in middle position raised to 2,200 and Benny Glaser called from the big blind.

The flop came {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {5-Diamonds} and Glaser bet 3,400. His opponent shoved, putting Glaser to a decision for his remaining approximately 10,000 chips, and he went into the tank. Ultimately, he called to put himself at risk.

Benny Glaser: {K-}{9-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Glaser had the best of it with top pair and his opponent needed to catch up on the river in order to stack him. The final card was the {3-Hearts} which changed nothing and Glaser took the pot to double up.

Frankenberger Felted With the Second-Best Boat

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Randall McCormick raised to 1,600 from the cutoff and two-time bracelet winner Andy Frankenberger called from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {6-Spades}, Frankenberger bet 2,000, and his opponent called.

The {5-Diamonds} fell on the river and Frankenberger checked. McCormick bet 7,000, Frankenberger check-shoved for 27,100, and his opponent instantly called with a covering stack. Frankenberger flipped over {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for sixes full only to see McCormick table {J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} to take the pot with jacks full.
