McLoughlin Jams It In

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Steve McLoughlin
Steve McLoughlin

Steve McLoughlin raised to 7,000 from under-the-gun, and was called by a player in middle position, the hijack, and Harrah's poker dealer Austin Roberts in the big blind.

Action checked to the hijack on a {4-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} flop, and he bet 8,000. Roberts folded, and McLoughlin jammed for 54,500. The middle position player quickly folded, while the hijack paused for a few moments before tossing his hand to the muck as well.

Rogers Spikes A Queen

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player jammed for 37,000 from middle position, and Leyla Rogers, a poker dealer at the Wynn here in Las Vegas, three-bet jammed for 60,000, chasing out the field.

Leyla Rogers: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Rogers found a queen on the {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop, but her opponent was still plenty live with a Broadway draw as well. The {2-Clubs} turn and {5-Spades} river were safe for Rogers, and her opponent said, "All that waiting for nothin'," before making his exit.

Zamora Pays For It

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Bryan Wienhoff bet 26,000 from the small blind facing a {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs} board, and Filimon Zamora, who works at the IS Department at Tachi Palace Casino in California, went deep into the tank.

"I'll take this one, you take the next one." Wienhoff told Zamora. A few moments later, he called for a clock.

Zamora tanked down to three seconds remaining on the clock before tossing in a call, and the {6-Clubs} peeled off on the river. Wienhoff quickly checked, and Zamora announced, "All-in."

"Well, you paid for it, you get it," Wienhoff, who had 80,000 back, said before folding.

David Cuts Down Queens

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Fred David raised to 6,000 from the button, and the small blind three-bet shoved for 31,000. David tossed in a call.

Fred David: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Opponent: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

David took a big lead on the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop, flopping a king-high flush, but his opponent picked up four outs on the {9-Spades} turn. The {2-Spades} river bricked off, and David claimed a knockout.

Last Break of the Night

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Players are off on their final fifteen-minute break of the night. When they return, they'll play three more levels before bagging and tagging for night.

Campbell Goes Runner-Runner

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Three people limped in before Tommy Campbell, a WSOP Dealer, jammed for 19,600 in the big blind. Only a player in early position called to put Campbell at risk.

Tommy Campbell: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

"I'm dead," Campbell said when he saw the {a-Clubs} in the window, followed by the {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} on the flop. Campbell found some hope when the {7-Diamonds} turn gave him a flush draw, and he drilled the {6-Diamonds} river, leaving Campbell's opponent to duck his head in disbelief while Campbell stood up and walked around, celebrating his double.

KevMath Can't Catch

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Kevin Mathers
Kevin Mathers

Kevin Mathers was standing up with empty felt in front of his seat. He was kind enough to share the details of his bustout with us.

A player raised to 4,500 from middle position, and Mathers three-bet shoved for 19,900. His opponent called.

Kevin Mathers: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-}{k-}

Mathers was able to flop a flush draw on a {7-}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, but improved no further on the turn or river to bust.
